The Anti-Racist Scholar Collective

The Anti Racist Scholar Collective is a collaborative network dedicated to advancing race equity, anti-racist scholarship, and social justice across higher education and wider society. We aim to challenge the resurgent and dominant narratives of an emboldened far-right. The network brings together scholars, students, practitioners, activists, and creative practitioners to collectively challenge structural racism, knowledge inequalities, and institutional barriers that shape educational and societal outcomes. Grounded in principles of collaboration, solidarity, and accessible knowledge sharing, the Collective creates space for critical dialogue, academic and creative expression, and the exchange of research and practice that centres lived experience alongside academic scholarship.

Through seminars, resource development, and collaborative projects, the network seeks to support transformative change by amplifying anti-racist voices, sharing evidence-informed practice, and fostering community-led knowledge production. The Collective recognises multiple ways of knowing, including storytelling, creative outputs, and community expertise, as essential to challenging dominant narratives and advancing equitable futures. By building connections across institutions, sectors, and communities, the Anti Racist Scholar Collective aims to support sustainable anti-racist action, critical reflection, academic publication and collective empowerment.
